Before you start.
- Operating system Windows 10 or Windows 11, 64-bit.
- MIDI keyboard A compatible MIDI keyboard is required for full practice features
- Display Minimum recommended display resolution: 1600 × 900.
- MIDI connection USB MIDI or a compatible MIDI interface.
02 — Installation
Installing Piazono.

Download the installer
Download the latest version of Piazono from the official website.

Run Piazono_Setup_v1.1.1.exe
Follow the installation steps displayed by Windows.

Start your free trial
The 7-day trial starts automatically when Piazono is first used. No credit card is required.
03 — MIDI keyboard
Connecting your instrument.

Connect the keyboard
Connect your MIDI keyboard before starting Piazono whenever possible.

Select the MIDI input
Press F8 in Piazono and select your MIDI device from the list.

Play a note
The corresponding piano key and notation should appear immediately.
If your MIDI device does not appear, close Piazono,
reconnect the keyboard and start the application again.
04 — Activation
Activating your licence.
After purchasing Piazono, you receive a licence key associated with your order.

Copy your licence key
Use the licence key sent after your purchase.

Open the activation window
Enter the licence key inside Piazono.

Activate
Piazono verifies the licence online and unlocks the full application.
If your licence key is refused, check that it has been copied
correctly. If the problem continues, contact

05 — New computer
Moving Piazono to another computer.
If you replace your computer or can no longer use one of your previous activations, contact Piazono support.
Licence activation reset
Send an email to:
Please include:
- the email address used for your purchase;
- your order number if available;
- a short explanation such as “I replaced my computer and need to activate Piazono again.”
Support can then review the activation and, when appropriate, release the previous machine so you can activate Piazono on the new computer.
06 — Troubleshooting
Common issues.
No sound
Check the Piazono volume control and your Windows audio output. Restart the application if the audio device has changed.
Licence not accepted.
Check the licence key for extra spaces or typing errors. If activation still fails, contact support.
